Poverty Bay
Golf Club is a nationally ranked, championship links course which has
hosted the New Zealand Amateur championship in 1991 and the Tower Tournament
in 1996.
The course
is undulating with large, fast and true Pencross greens which are very
well bunkered. The fairways and tees are both watered and hazards to
avoid include a lake and reservoir.
Grand views
of Young Nicks Head and the convivial and friendly clubhouse make for
the most pleasant of days.
