Omaha Beach Golf Club “WOW” is what we’re hearing from everyone who has recently played at Omaha Beach. The once hidden treasure has now been discovered. So near to Auckland ! Now, only 45 minutes through the Johnston's Hill Tunnel from Auckland, this 18 hole par 70 course has come of age. It’s a “links” course. Significant work has gone into Omaha Beach golf course over the past five years to realise the designer’s vision to create a world-class 18 hole course in the tradition of a “links”. Ongoing expert and innovative crafting and grooming by a small team of clever greenkeepers and local volunteers ensure we make the most of this stunning seaside location and the gentle, undulating roll of the rural landscape into which the course neatly sits. The course is challenging at times, satisfying at others. That’s golf!!! But it’s also a course for all levels of golfing ability with a bonus. The environment is a feast for the eyes and ears. Hear the pounding surf, drink in the spectacular views, enjoy a stand of sheltering native Kahikatea on one of the boardwalks that lead from one hole to the next tee and listen to the birdsong as you play your way through the course.
